Mission Statement

South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition, a 501(c) (3) has established partnerships with the associated agencies allowing us the ability to hold regular cleanups along the Guadalupe and the Coyote Creek Watersheds. It is our mission to Reclaim, Restore, and Revitalize our Watersheds for future generations.

About This Cause

Through an ongoing effort, our group has held 439 cleanups, removed 724 tons of trash from our local waterways over the past eleven years. Our long term goal is to establish a self-sustaining population of Chinook salmon & Steelhead whose return the community can celebrate on a yearly basis. This is a reoccurring theme for many cities along the Northwest corridor, stretching up into Alaska. Our efforts work to restore the health of our waterways, focusing on creek cleanups, vegetation management, mural projects, and bio-blitzes. At these events, we educate the participants through videos and stories about the wide variety of plant and animal life calling our local waterways home, including Chinook salmon, Steelhead, and Beaver. We find that through volunteering, employees return with a renewed sense of hope and community. Please visit our website for more detailed information.
