Sisters for Society Corporation is a nonprofit organization that provides a lifeline of support and knowledge to marginalized individuals and families facing financial instability.
About This Cause
Sisters for Society started in 2015 because of the lack of resources for those living paycheck to paycheck and in need of temporary assistance. Within this area there is an immense need for crisis management based on statics, however, we have only scratch the surface of meeting the needs of these families that are marginalized in our society. We have a two-fold program, currently we address the immediate crisis need which include food and clothing along with financial education. Compassion - We show compassion not just by lending a listening ear needs but when we see a person hurting we do what we can to help. Empowerment - We keep our clients empowered with encouraging and inspirational words while engaging them to take control of their lives. We are committed to helping restore hope in our community and connecting people to the resources.
