Mission Statement
MENTOR New York strives to create mentoring cultures and foster mentoring relationships wherever young people live, learn, work, and play. Our mission is to fuel the quality and quantity of mentoring relationships for young people and close the mentoring gap in New York.
About This Cause
Founded in 1993, MENTOR New York has created, enhanced, and advocated for quality youth mentorships for over 30 years. We currently serve over 2,300 mentoring programs that reach 250,000 young people aged 7 to 24. MENTOR New York's holistic approach incorporates expert consultation, mentor and staff training, marketing assistance, and connection to a community of like-minded professionals to help caring adults shape a brighter future for the next generation.
