Recovering Hands 90-day program has been providing help since 2015. One of the women we have been able to help writes this: “Recovering Hands did more for me in those few short months than anyone could ever know. I owe Recovering Hands my life. Without Kim, and the people at Recovering Hands coming into my life when they did, I would be dead. They taught me so much, gave me so many tools that I use every day. My mindset has completely changed. I grew so much because of the Recovering Hands Program and I could never go back to the old life that I used to have. Today I am doing well, I'm not where I want to be, but I am getting there. I am living with my mother and holding down a job and taking care of my son. None of it would have been possible without your intervention”. Recovering Hands relies almost entirely on the generous donations of businesses and individuals in our communities to fund our work. Mental health issues and drug overdose numbers continue to climb every day and our help has never been more critically needed. You can help! We are looking for businesses and individuals that want to use their charity dollars to help Recovering Hands expand to help women who want to take their lives back! Our goal is to reunite mothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, daughters with their families and become healthy, happy, useful productive members of society once again. You can help make this happen by making your tax-deductible donation today. There is no donation that will be considered too small! We need every dollar! All donations will be gratefully received! Our program fees are $3000.00 per month and each resident must pay these fees herself as we do not accept insurance. Most women do not have access to these funds so we make every effort to provide scholarships to them. The funding for these scholarships comes from tax deductible donations, grants, and the proceeds from products our residents make during their life skills program.
