Mission Statement
The specific purposes for which this nonprofit corporation is organized are to improve the lives and reduce the number of abandoned, stray and homeless animals and to place them in permanent loving homes by providing them foster care and shelter and to promote adoption and responsible pet ownership by educating the public on the importance of pet sterilization and the humane treatment of animals. This corporation is organized and operated exclusively within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, as now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that also qualify as Section 501(c)3 exempt organizations.
About This Cause
We are a small, home foster rescue group which means we do not have a physical shelter and rely on volunteers to foster our rescued dogs in their homes. Our rescued dogs come from the streets of San Antonio and from high-kill animal shelters in the San Antonio and South Texas area. We are a 100% volunteer group and have no paid employees. Since we are a small organization, we rely 100% on private donations.
