Mission Statement
Grandma's House is a non-profit that provides individual tutoring, mentoring, and life skills training to young children who have educational challenges regardless of monetary means, in a warm and loving environment.
About This Cause
Grandma's House epitomizes the 1950's grandmother's home. From the moment they step in the door, the children walk into a warm house filled with the smells of fresh baked cookies and healthy snacks, where they are cared for and nurtured by our wonderful volunteers. Tutoring is the basis of our organization, providing children in grades 3-5 with a safe environment in which to learn and thrive. Special programs, like our recent tea party class, broadens the horizons of the children we serve and provides them the necessary tools and etiquette they need to survive in life.
