Mission Statement

RVC is a BIPOC-led nonprofit organization that cultivates leaders of color, strengthens organizations led by communities of color, and fosters collaboration between diverse communities.

About This Cause

Founded in 2015, RVC offers culturally relevant resources to nonprofits who serve BIPOC communities in South Seattle and South King County. Our team is 100% BIPOC, with deep experience in the nonprofit sector. We serve the community through three main avenues: (1) organizing the paid Community Impact fellowships for leaders of color who learn and work for two years in nonprofit community organizations committed to equity. (2) helping nonprofits plan what they’ll need long-term to fulfill their mission while being sustainable, and (3) managing back-end operations including but not limited to accounting, contracting, and human resources. We offer space, power, autonomy, and creativity for people to dream for themselves, their organizations, and their communities! We are deeply grateful for having the privilege to serve and work alongside our partner organizations. Please visit our website (www.rvcseattle.org) to learn more about the vital work RVC and our partner organizations are doing in our communities!
