The Volo Kids Foundation builds communities of active, resilient, and confident kids. Our vision is to unlock the power of play for every kid, everywhere!
About This Cause
Through partnerships with community organizations, families, and youth, the Volo Kids Foundation creates safe, youth-centered programming that provides a platform for youth mentorship, familial health and wellness, and communal wellbeing. Our program removes barriers to athletic participation, such as limited financial resources and transportation, and is open to children of all races, genders, and experience levels. We emphasize team play through the various youth sports we offer and multi-generational community building by intentionally having adult volunteers serve as coaches to the kids. Additionally, we provide healthy post game snacks for thids. Volo Kids has successfully been operating in Baltimore since 2015, and has grown to serve over 45,000 kids in eight different cities through safe, high quality programming. We provide all our participants with a safe space to explore new ideas and opportunities, build new skills, find new talents, and experience success through play.
