Mission Statement

The largest nationwide network of Korean American voters, KAGC is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to uplifting our community through active civic engagement, and in turn, contribute to U.S.-Korea relations.

About This Cause

The largest nation-wide network of Korean American voters, KAGC leads initiatives on voter registration, civic education, community mobilization, as well as raising awareness of critical community issues among members of the U.S. Congress, in order to build a stronger voice for the Korean American community, as well as becoming the bridge between our homeland and motherland. With over 30 community partner organizations across the nation, the KAGC hosts a national conference every July in Washington, D.C. The 2017 KAGC national conference drew over 600 community members representing 97 congressional districts across 24 states, including 200 undergraduate students. 18 members of Congress from both sides of the aisle joined the 2017 KAGC in celebration of their constituents' and the Korean American community's active civic engagement and in support of a robust U.S.-Korea alliance. In between the national conference, KAGC also supports local community leaders in developing and implementing voter registration and civic education programs on the grassroots level. Under its college program KAGC U, over 1,500 undergraduate students at 120 universities have participated in voter registration efforts and civic leadership training.
