The mission of For the Love of Orphans is to raise financial support for Mansa Fountain of Blessing, a Zambia certified orphan center located in Mansa, Zambia, Arica.

About This Cause

The mission of For the Love of Orphans is to raise financial support for Mansa Fountain of Blessing, a Zambia certified orphan center located in Mansa, Zambia, Africa. Mansa Fountain of Blessings provides tuition, fees and uniforms for orphans to attend Zambia public schools K1 through K12, The orphan center also provides 2 meals a day, six times a week, clothing and shoes, and lots of love and support to 70 orphans registered in the program. As there is no tax system in Zambia, all children must pay to go to public schools and are required to have uniforms. Mansa is located in the Luapula Province, a very poverty stricken area of Northern Zambia devastated by HIV and malaria. Without Mansa Fountain of Blessings, these children can't afford to attend school, have very little to eat, and are shoeless and live in ragged clothing. The Orphan center pays for their school, feeds them with hot meals and provides clothing and shoes along with lots of compassion. We also teach life skills such as tailoring, brick laying, barbering, and wood working. We have a new scholarship program, assisting 9 children that are now attending University of Zambia! For the Love of Orphans is a nonprofit Texas corporation with 501(c)(3) status working to support Mansa Fountain of Blessings. Every dollar donated goes directly to the orphan center. All board members and officers are non-paid volunteers, working hard to provide for these underprivileged children. Donations can be one time or recurring for the Orphan Center and we have a program to sponsor a child either monthly or a one time donation. Please see our website: www.fortheloveoforphans.org.
