Mission Statement
Mission: The mission of the Charlie Wittwer Wheelchair Athletics Foundation is to provide sports training and athletic competition for adults with physical disabilities. The Charlie Wittwer Wheelchair Athletics foundation provides opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities to stay active and healthy. Our athletes also learn the same values that can be taught through able-bodied sports and competition including: teamwork, goal setting, and increased self-esteem. Vision: The Charlie Wittwer Wheelchair Athletics Foundation, through its donors and partners, is always willing to help individuals with disabilities participate in sports. We aspire to make all disabled individuals learn that they can achieve any athletic goal they set whether it is: playing with and against friends; competing in local competitions against others in the community; winning National Tournaments; or Representing their country and bringing home a Gold Medal.
