Mission Statement
The mission of Kids’ Chance of Texas is to create and support scholarship programs that provide educational opportunities for kids in Texas, who have had a parent catastrophically or fatally injured while in the course and scope of their job.
About This Cause
We are a non profit organization that creates and supports scholarship programs for children who have had a parent involved in a workplace accident that was fatal or le them severely injured. Kids’ Chance was founded in 1988 by a workers’ compensation attorney in Valdosta, Georgia. Since that time, the organization has grown by leaps and bounds and has 36 state chapters across the country. The Texas Kids’ Chance chapter was formed in June of 2015 to give kids in our great state a helping hand during times of need.
