About This Cause
The Urban Bicycle Food Ministry - Des Moines is inclusive and welcoming of all regardless of faith, orientation or religious beliefs/non-beliefs. Our goal is to provide food, water, blankets, gloves, sunscreen, etc. and build a relationship with a marginalized and overlooked part of our society...all from the back of our bicycles. Since 2015 we have been serving radical hospitality one burrito at a time. Each Thursday of the week all year long we prepare and deliver hundreds of food and personal items by bike and car to those most in need in the greater Des Moines Area. Anyone can join use...whether you ride a bike or not. Everyone is welcome. Urban Bicycle Food Ministry - Des Moines is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations may be tax deductible.
