Mission Statement
Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank partners with local social service partner agencies to distribute clean diapers at no cost to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers. Our vision is to eliminate the existence of diaper need in the Greater Cincinnati area so that all babies have a chance to be healthy, happy, and safe.
About This Cause
Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank is Cincinnati's ONLY disposable diaper bank. SCDB partners with 52 local social service agencies throughout Ohio and Kentucky to distribute diapers every month to low-income families who need them. All diapers are removed from original packaging and rewrapped to reduce the chance they are resold for cash or other goods. An additional 30 agencies are on our waitlist while we raise funding to expand. Over 16,000 children in the Greater Cincinnati area suffer from diaper need. SCDB currently distributes 220,000 diapers every month to over 4,400 children (accurate as of August 2020). Since October 2015, SCDB has distributed 4.5 million clean diapers to change the bottom line for families in need.
