Mission Statement
At Noggin Educational Foundation we are helping close the achievement gap by providing free educational services and resources to students from low-income families.
About This Cause
Noggin Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth area serving students from low-income families. After years of witnessing her husband teach ask-risk students who were grade levels behind their peers, founder Doneda Bailey realized the dyer need to provide quality supplemental educational resources and close the achievement gap. Noggin provides free tutoring, summer enrichment, career exploration, and after school homework programs. In addition, we provide resources such as school supplies and backpacks to help ease the financial burden these families feel. Supporting families is one of our passions. We created the radio show and podcast, "School Dazed: Help For Moms and Dads of School-Aged Kids" to provide information and resources to parents regarding subjects that directly impact their children's education. In this weekly radio show experts in education and child development speak to issues such as bullying, anxiety, career readiness, school safety and more.
