Mission Statement
The MEF pays for educational enrichment activities that benefit students at Madera Elementary. These activities include, but are not limited to: art program, music program, computer lab and technology learning, physical education, garden program, classroom workshops, field trips, puberty education, library books, and classroom and office supplies.
About This Cause
As a non-profit organization, completely run by volunteers, the mission of the Madera Elementary Foundation (MEF) is to enhance the Madera Elementary School experience for all our students, families and staff by supporting curriculum and building a sense of community. Our goal is to educate the child through programs that enhance the core curriculum, expand the arts, integrate technology in the classroom, promote physical fitness and build a positive learning environment. MEF’s sole purpose is to raise money to provide programs that the school could not otherwise sustain. All monies raised go directly to the school to benefit our students.
