Mission Statement
The RCHF a not-for-profit organization working collaboratively to ensure patients and families have access to compassionate healthcare and community wellness programs. Foundation established in 1990 as the philanthropic affiliate of Rice County District Hospital (Hospital District No. 1 Rice County) – a 25-bed critical access hospital. Operations and oversight provided by a Board of Directors who represents the communities of Rice County. Proceeds from the RCHF Charity Golf Tournament help support the hospital and multi-site facilities located in the heartland. Experienced and trained professionals work together as a team to provide compassionate care for all ages - newborns to geriatric - Emergency Services 24/7; Family Birthing Center; Cardiac Rehab; Lab/Radiology Services; PT/Rehabilitation; Dietary/Surgical/Out Patient Care, Swing Bed and Senior Living solution. Every gift, however large or small, helps RCHF achieve its mission to improve health and inspire philanthropy in the Rice County community.
About This Cause
This is the 22nd annual RCHF charity golf event for Lyons. The foundation is grateful for the many dedicated players and sponsors from across the state who continue to support its mission. Members of the hospital staff and volunteers are a vital part of the events success. They make is all happen. We are looking forward to our Kohls team of volunteers to help us out again this year on May 4th in Lyons. 72 players will arrive at 8:30 and tee-off begins at 10 a.m. This years event takes place May 4 in Lyons. 72 players will arrive at 8:30 to enjoy a day of golf. The agenda will much like last year. Arrive before tee-off, between 9:15 and 9:30. Two volunteers will be ball watchers on one of the greens and three will help identify team photo members. Bring personal items including lawn chairs, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, umbrella if cloudy and jacket, just in case. Wear comfortable shoes. Lunch and beverage will be provided. As a result of the impact this tournament has on the Rice County community, people and families will continue to receive quality healthcare. The overall goal is to provide exceptional care for our patients who are our neighbors, school teachers, local business owners; acquaintances we greet with a nod in the grocery store and cheer alongside at our children’s sports games. Our staff operates as a family, delivering personalized care from the time each patient arrives until they leave, attending to each person with dignity and respect. Our patients benefit when the medical professionals work together as a team, committed to diagnosing and analyzing in the most effective and timely manner. In our effort to deliver outstanding patient experiences, collaborative partnerships with other healthcare facilities and professionals are established so that the patient benefits from a diverse scope of available technology and specialists who can assess, diagnose and treat their ailments. When people are faced with an emergency, need answers or looking for where to turn for their health care needs, we are postured to be the best option for comprehensive care. Our facilities are conveniently located and our staff are readily available to serve the health care needs of our community with a skilled team, prompt responsiveness and accurate treatment.
