About This Cause
The Blue Valley Educational Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was created in the fall of 1990 in response to changes in tax-based support for public education. These changes meant that our residents' ability to directly support the Blue Valley School District was lessened. The Foundation was created to help supplement the needs of the students in the school district through teacher grants and supplemental programs. The Foundation is a means to empower educators to go beyond the limits of our financial environment, not just occasionally, but continually.
