Mission Statement
The Delaware SPCA is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to enhance the well-being of companion animals with their human care-givers and communities. We promote the humane treatment of animals by providing adoption opportunities, low-cost veterinary services and educational programs. We have been providing services for people and their companion animals since 1873. We do not receive federal funding, and there is no national SPCA. We rely primarily on support and donations from the community and individuals to carry on our work for the animals.
