Mission Statement
To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome as many dogs and cats from shelters as possible, while at the same time working towards reducing the number of unwanted pets through our Spaymobile and educational programs.
About This Cause
"In Latin "Amanda" means "Worthy of Love", and that is our philosophy towards homeless dogs and cats, that they are worthy of our love and protection. Our organization is unique in that we are the only rescue organization in the U.S. that also owns and operates both a Spaymobile and a full service veterinary hospital. Our goal is not only to rescue and rehome but also to solve the problem at the source of too many unwanted pets filling shelters by offering free spay/neuter services and wellness clinics to low income areas. The answer is beyond rescue: it’s never entering the shelter in the first place. "
