About This Cause
Created in 1994 by Herbalife Founder Mark Hughes (1956-2000), the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF) is a global non-profit foundation dedicated to improving the lives of children around the world by helping provide access to good nutrition. Millions of children in developing countries and around the world suffer from malnutrition. We envision a world where every child has equal access to healthy nutrition. We fund grants to charitable organizations that give vulnerable children the nutrition they need to reach their full potential. Additionally, HNF often supports relief efforts in response to catastrophic natural disasters around the world. Twenty years ago, HNF started out as a single program in Brazil. Today, we provide millions of dollars in funding each year to more than 130 orphanages, hospitals, schools, and organizations in over 50 countries. We believe that good nutrition is about more than just having enough food to eat—our Casa Herbalife Nutrition programs provide children with the nourishment, care, and education they need to thrive today and spread their wings tomorrow.
