Coastal Community Preschool seeks to provide a safe, accessible, family-centered environment that nurtures children as individuals, fosters social understanding, and serves as a vital part of its local community. in this setting, we will celebrate the unique spirit of each child and strive to cultivate Good People who recognize and respect their own precious worth and that of others.
About This Cause
Coastal Community Preschool is a private non profit preschool on the Westside of Santa Cruz, Ca. We serve up to 42 children daily between the ages of 2 years 3 months and 5. CCP is a nonprofit organization that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnic origin or disability. We offer a stimulating atmosphere that helps prepare children emotionally and intellectually for school as well as life's other experiences. While recognizing the challenges of today''s working families we have developed a flexible program that accommodates a variety of schedules and lifestyles, while maintaining the highest quality early learning experience for each child. We realize our tuition can be a challenge so we offer tuition assistance to students whose family financial circumstances qualify them for such assistance, subject to budgetary constraints. in determining eligibility, the Preschool also seeks to equalize disbursement of tuition assistance among the age ranges of enrolled students. We want to maximize outdoor play by moving interest centers outdoors, opening up new possibilities. we are in the process of expanding our yard and creating more natural playscape areas.
