The American Geophysical Union’s mission is to promote discovery and solutions in Earth and space science for the benefit of humanity. We are dedicated to supporting the critical—and interconnected—issues of natural hazards, resource scarcity, and climate change by expanding the science and public discourse around these topics. Our vision reinforces this commitment, as we work to galvanize a community of 180,000 Earth and space scientists and science enthusiasts that collaboratively advances and communicates science and its power to ensure a sustainable future.
