Mission Statement
InReach provides innovative housing, employment and community services in support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We operate 15 group homes, assist individuals with independent living in their own homes, assist our program participants with securing and maintaining employment, provide emergency financial assistance for families caring for a loved one with a disability, and connect our participants to community resources and volunteer activities.
About This Cause
InReach provides a multitude of services in North Carolina counties including Mecklenburg, Rowan, Cabarrus, Union. Founded in 1974, we annually provides over 1100 individuals with special needs with the services they need to live their lives as independently as they are able. Our services include housing, employment, connecting these individuals with other needed services in our community, and providing emergency financial assistance for those in dire need who are caring for a loved one with a disability. We currently employ 100 full time staff, 165 part time, and 296 contract employees. Our annual budget is approximately $12 million dollars and 87% of our funds are devoted to direct service.
