MPT's mission is to educate, entertain, and enlighten the people of Maryland and beyond through creative programs and services of the highest quality, delivered through traditional public broadcasting and new multimedia technologies. MPT's commitment to excellence, innovation, diversity, and the values of Marylanders is essential to this mission.
About This Cause
The MPT Foundation, Inc., is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1981 to encourage increased funding for MPT and to receive donations and grants on behalf of MPT. The MPT Foundation is governed by an independent board of voluntary directors composed of community leaders who are elected to staggered three year terms.
