Project Details
In less than a month, over half a million Rohingya people have fled to Bangladesh after a violent military clearance operation began in Myanmar. Rohingya are considered the world’s most persecuted minority, as they are denied citizenship and face discrimination in their homeland of Myanmar. Over 80 percent of refugees are women and children. With over 400,000 living in temporary camps, there is great need for aid in areas including sanitation and hygiene, education, health care and food. Our partners are on the ground, providing care within the camps and addressing serious medical needs as the refugees arrive. Support our partners as they meet urgent needs.
