Mission Statement
The mission of the Home School Foundation, established in 1994 as the charitable arm of Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), is to provide support to homeschooling families in need, preserve parental freedoms, promote homeschooling, and support like-minded organizations.
About This Cause
HSF provides financial assistance to families in America homeschooling through hard times, as well as homeschooling groups in the US and internationally. Receiving no public funds, the Home School Foundation offers grants from private sources, mostly individual, through a variety funds to assist homeschooling families. Those receiving assistance include widows, single parents, families with special needs children, military families, and those who have lost a job or a home due to fire, flood, or storm.
