Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
About This Cause
Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg aims to build and renovate homes in order to sell them at an affordable price to hard-working, low to moderate income families in our community. We depend on hundreds of volunteers and the partnerships of local governments, businesses, and faith groups to make this possible. An ecumenical group of individuals formed our affiliate in 1985. We started our first home in 1986 and, since then, our affiliate has constructed and renovated over 200 houses in our community!
