For over 25 years, the National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health has been the nationwide advocacy organization with families as its sole focus, playing an important role in helping children, youth and their families whose lives are impacted by mental health challenges. This important work is supported largely by the generous donors like you who contribute to our cause. Events: Every year, the National Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health holds 2 major events to raise awareness to the issues and causes integral to the children's mental health field. Children's Mental Health Awareness Week takes place the first week of May, where countless individuals, communities and organizations will use this week to collectively raise awareness about children's mental health. The Annual Conference takes place in November and features many great workshops and speakers, joining hundreds of mental health advocates and professionals from across the nation as we work to educate and empower children, youth, and families! It is through our combined efforts that growth, renewal and the promotion of positive mental health will impact the well-being of our children. Our voices carry volumes in bringing about change.
