About This Cause
At Rebuilding Together Howard County, we make essential repairs to help our neighbors in need stay safely in their homes. Our work often goes beyond each home. We work closely with community residents, local government, and partner with other county organizations to revitalize our community, together. Safe and Healthy Housing is the foundation of Rebuilding Together Howard County's home repair work, targeting significant safety and health hazards based on the Eight Principals of Healthy Homes - keep it dry, clean, pest-free, safe, constaminant-free, well-ventilated, maintained and thermally controlled. Every person should be given the opportunity to live, learn, work, thrive, and age in a safe place.
