About This Cause
Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary is a 400 acre refuge for abused, neglected and abandoned farm animals and rehabilitated wildlife located in Poolesville, Maryland. The sanctuary provides a permanent home for over 200 rescued farm animals and assist wildlife rehabilitators by offering a protected release site for previously injured or orphaned indigenous wildlife. The sanctuary offers educational tours for schools, community groups and individuals year round, and promotes compassion and respect for all animals.
