To provide affordable English-language instruction and workforce programs to adult immigrants using volunteers.
About This Cause
WEC's vision is that all immigrants have access to the education and support they need to achieve their goals. We support this vision through morning and evening classes, online and in-person, serving nearly 1,900 immigrants and refugees from around the world. Since 1993, we have served immigrants and refugees from 120 countries as our students live, work, and build community in the Washington, DC, region.
