Mission Statement
HealthHIV advances effective prevention, care, support, and health equity for people living with, or at risk for, HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C—particularly with LGBT and other underserved communities—by providing education, capacity building, health services research, and advocacy to organizations, communities, and professionals.
About This Cause
HealthHIV is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit, minority-based organization based in Washington, DC with the mission to advance effective prevention, care, support, and health equity for people living with or at risk for HIV and hepatitis C – particularly with racial and ethnic minorities, LGBT, and other underserved communities – by providing education, capacity building, health services research, and advocacy to organizations, communities, and professionals. HealthHIV has a strong history of providing education to, and building the capacity of, AIDS Service Organizations/Community Based Organizations/Faith-Based Organizations, Ryan White and CDC funded entities, state and local health departments, health centers/healthcare organizations, primary care providers, HIV specialists, allied health professionals, pharmacists, and municipal leaders serving diverse racial and ethnic minority communities and other vulnerable populations.
