About This Cause

The Painters and Allied Trades for Children’s Hope (PATCH) Foundation was founded in 2001 to better the lives of children in need throughout North America. In addition to our work on the national level, local union members and union affiliates collect donations for the PATCH Foundation and use those gifts to aid hometown charities and organizations of their choice. The PATCH Foundation provides financial support to nonprofit organizations benefiting children in need. PATCH donations help address education, medical services, literacy, child illnesses, emotional well-being, poverty, and homelessness in communities throughout the country. Supported by the men and women of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, and other generous donors, PATCH has given more than $1 million to local youth organizations. PATCH supports medical centers, shelters, schools and school programs, youth sports leagues, and other vital programs that enrich children’s lives every day.
