Mission Statement
Live and Let Live Farm's Rescue and Sanctuary is an animal shelter that rescues abused and unwanted animals, mainly horses, and pregnant dogs and cats, but helps endless animals in need from birds, reptiles and guinea pigs, etc to animals of agriculture and provides them either a temporary or permanent safe place to interact with people. When applicable, we will try to find appropriate homes for rehabilitated animals. We also help animals who's owners have loved them and has come onto hard times from loss of job, home, sickness or even death. Those animals that are considered un-adoptable will be given lifetime care at our sanctuary farm.
About This Cause
Live and Let Live Farm's rescue and sanctuary for all species of animals at their greatest time of need in which we are able to help. Live and Let Live Farm has grown to be the largest equine/horse rescue in the Northern New England states . In 2019 out of 298 nominated equine rescue's across the country, Live and Let Live Farm's rescue and sanctuary was voted by the public, as the #1 equine rescue in the country. Live and Let Live Farm is a family, volunteer organization, with many caring hearts and giving hands coming together to make a difference of endless, precious lives from abuse situations to people whom have loved their animals greatly but have become to ill to care for them, or even death of a human owner. Live and Let Live Farm's rescue has a guided tour every Sunday at 230 to come and meet the animals of the rescue ( please wear closed toed shoes to come on the property of the rescue) the tour takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. Although the guided tour is free, donations are in need and highly appreciated. www.liveandletlivefarm.org
