Mission Statement
Frederick Humane Society Mission: To advocate for animal welfare in the community and provide affordable services, resources and programs to help responsible pet owners keep their pets healthy, happy and in life-long homes.
About This Cause
The Frederick County Humane Society provides financial assistance for vet care, pet food as well as items needed for pets. Pets provide comfort and companionship; no one should have to give up their pet when facing hard times. FCHS works diligently to assist families when they need help with care for their pets. Financial donations will help us reach more people in need of assistance with the cost of vet care. Food or pet items are passed on to residents to help with the care of pets. It is the kindness of our community that helps us provide assistance between 2,000 and 3,000 times each year.
