Mission Statement
Holy Trinity Catholic Church owns and operates the Holy Trinity Food Closet as our primary outreach ministry in the community. The mission of Holy Trinity's Food Closet Ministry is to provide nutritious food to those in need in a compassionate and dignified manner. Our market-style facility allows the client to select which foods best fit their needs. We are open three days a week with clients welcome to visit every two weeks. We serve over 23,000 people per year. Holy Trinity Food Closet is an equal opportunity provider and proud Partner Agency of the Oregon Food Bank.
About This Cause
Our Food Closet serves those in the Beaverton and Aloha area as well as surrounding communities. We are one of the busiest Food Pantries in Washington County. Offering a wide variety of foods and personal care items, we serve over 110 families each week of the year. We also distribute approximately 90 backpacks to multiple schools within the Beaverton School District containing rice, beans, tuna, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, fresh fruits and vegetables, and more. We also coordinate special holiday outreach events at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
