Mission Statement

San Joaquin Memorial High School is a private Catholic high school located in Fresno, California, in the heart of San Joaquin Valley. Founded in 1945, Memorial is the only Catholic high school in the greater Fresno area that is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno. With a current enrollment of 600 students, we are proud to offer students both a diverse and challenging curriculum designed to provide a thorough education rooted in the Catholic faith. When Memorial students graduate, they are fully equipped to deal with the rigors of even the most select universities. We emphasize the importance of understanding the value of knowledge and critical inquiry. And, as a college preparatory high school, we help our students excel through challenging honors and Advanced Placement courses. Memorial is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Western Catholic Education Education Association (WCEA).

About This Cause

San Joaquin Memorial High School is a ministry of the Catholic Church administered by the Diocese of Fresno. Our foundation is the Gospel message that inspires worship, promotes service and builds community. In partnership with parents—who are the primary educators—our faculty and staff serve as teachers and mentors in a student-centered environment.
