Mission Statement

The Roanoke Valley Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to improve the quality of life for animals and the people they touch in the Roanoke Valley.

About This Cause

We strive to accomplish our mission by providing food, shelter, medical care and companionship to the homeless and unwanted companion pets of our area. By providing humane education, feeding at-risk pets with the PET outreach program, and curbing pet overpopulation with our mobile spay/neuter clinic, we emphasize the importance of the human/animal bond and help to create loving relationships between pet and guardian.
