Active in Virginia since 1962, Big Brothers Big Sisters Services, Inc creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
About This Cause
Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential and works to ignite, empower, and defend that potential through one-to-one mentorship. Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, professionally supported matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through young adulthood. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of youth in our communities. Service Area: We proudly serve youth in the Greater Richmond, Greater Petersburg, Tri-Cities, Greater Virginia Peninsula, and Hampton Roads area.
