About This Cause
Alternatives, Inc., founded in 1973, is a nationally recognized youth development nonprofit. Everything we do is designed to build the specific assets that support young people as they grow into creative, compassionate and responsible adults. This means helping children and youth by developing their leadership skills and become civicly engaged, supporting early childhood centers in best practices of health and wellness, providing fun and engaging afterschool programs, and empowering families in areas of financial literacy, wellness, and positive realtionships with their children.
