Mission Statement
The Alliance restores the lands and waters of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Our collaborative and action-oriented approach delivers on-the-ground solutions, technical assistance, and builds capacity to achieve healthier lands and cleaner water. We envision clean water and resilient landscapes, cared for by all the people who live, work, and play in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
About This Cause
The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay leads, supports and inspires local action to restore and protect the lands, rivers and streams of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Our programs improve water quality and the overall health of the Bay, and make local communities of the watershed better places to live and work. The Alliance brings together individuals, organizations, businesses and governments in innovative partnerships to take hands on actions, to build strong commitment to environmental stewardship, and to deliver innovative programs like Project Clean Stream, READY and Chesapeake Forests that benefit the land, waters, and residents of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
