About This Cause
Flat Creek is a cooperating Southern Baptist Church serving the Lynchburg community since 1831. The gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the compelling reason that God is at work in this world. God has communicated to us by the living word,Jesus Christ, and through His written word, the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is given so that we may come to the knowledge of our sin and experience sin's forgiveness in Christ Jesus. Only then can we relish the true, magnificent nature of an infinite God.
