Mission Statement
Serving Children & Families since 1979 with the help of our community partners, the mission of SERVE is to strategically address food insecurity, provide emergency relief, and promote programs that give hope and UPLIFT our Community neighbors.
About This Cause
We SERVE our community by directly battling food, health, and energy insecurities through donations, volunteering, and strategic partnerships. SERVE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1979, serving all of Stafford County as well as portions of Spotsylvania, Caroline, King George Counties and the City of Fredericksburg. SERVE is the largest food pantry located in Stafford County with nearly 25% of our community neighbors falling below the poverty level per the US Census reports. Our goal is to continuously raise awareness and tackle social disparities of food insecurity in Stafford County and surrounding areas. Our Vision is to engage in activities that promote the general health and well-being of our community through coordinated efforts to support the underserved population and our neighbors in need.
