Mission Statement
The American Sleep Apnea Association, founded in 1990, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes awareness of sleep apnea, works for continuing improvements in treatments for this serious disorder, and advocates for the interests of sleep apnea patients.
About This Cause
As part of its endeavors to increase understanding of sleep apnea, ASAA responds to thousands of requests for information from the public each year and answers a multitude of questions about diagnosis and treatment options. ASAA helps sleep apnea patients get CPAP equipment and supplies when they can't afford it. In addition, ASAA works collaboratively with other nonprofit organizations and groups of health care professionals.
