About This Cause
Arlington Retirement Housing Corporation is the nonprofit owner of Culpepper Garden, an award-winning, affordable community for low-income people over age 62. Our 340 apartments provide a high quality, nurturing environment that allows older residents to age in place. Our assisted living wing, which accommodates residents as their needs increase, was the first of its kind in the United States and is still the only one in Arlington for low-income older adults. Since our assisted living wing opened in 2000, 43% of its residents have relied on Culpepper Garden for additional financial support to pay for their care.
