Mission Statement
The mission of the C. Waldo Scott Center for H.O.P.E. is to provide HOPE to families, while developing the WHOLE CHILD.
About This Cause
The Scott Center achieves its mission by providing multi-discipline services to educate and foster the growth and development of youth and families. Programs and services are prevention based and focus on the areas of education, life skills, health, and employment. As a non-profit, the Scott Center works collaboratively with other organizations to provide needed programs and services to the youth and families of Newport News, Virginia, specifically those of the Southeast community. The Scott Center has Family Support Specialist to meet with those in need to assess needed services or resources and assist with connecting them to such providers.
