The Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology provides gifted and talented students a differentiated and rigorous education, cultivates a supportive environment that inspires unique artistic and technological visions, promotes cultural tolerance, nurtures community partnerships, and produces active, engaged citizens.
About This Cause
Our mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all students at the Appomattox Regional Governor's School for the Arts and Technology. The ARGS PTSA provides support for many activities like the following: Applicant Adjudication & ARGS Experience Days Freshmen Orientation and Back-to-School for Upperclassmen Teacher Luncheons: Winter (Dec) & Teacher Appreciation (May) PTSA Post-Prom Party PTA Day at the General Assembly PTSA Scholarship(s) for Senior students (available to a selected PTSA student member applicant) National PTSA Reflections Program (www.pta.org) & PTSA Citizenship Essay Contest
