The mission of the YMCA of Kanawha Valley is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
About This Cause
There is no association quite like the Y. From our inception, the Y has changed lives, ignited spirits, and strengthened communities by delivering innovative programs and services that address pressing social needs. For over 115 years, the YMCA has served the Kanawha Valley, now operating the Charleston Family YMCA and the Cross Lanes YMCA Child Development Center. By nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the community’s health and well-being, and supporting and serving our neighbors, the Y ensures that everyone has the opportunity to become healthier, more confident, connected and secure.
