The mission of the Worldwide Ferry Safety Association is to improve ferry safety worldwide and to expand the use of safe ferries globally.

About This Cause

We achieve our mission to enhance ferry safety by: Sponsoring an annual international student design competition for a safe affordable ferry, now in its tenth year, making $10,000 in awards; Convening the Ferry Safety and Technology Conference for what would have been the tenth year. During covid we produced over a dozen webinars and made them free of charge; Conduction research and publishing our findings on ferry safety topics; Collaborating with other organizations
